June 21, 2008 – 4:06 pmWell, I’m starting a blog. After having hundreds of food blogs, geeky blogs, and friends’ blogs in my google reader, I figured I should probably attempt to write one myself. It seems like a good way to keep in touch with folks as well. Soooooo, a bit about me: My name is Cassie, and I’m an aerospace engineer. I work at Boeing in Everett, WA. My husband, Shaun, is currently an officer in the Navy. We got married about 3 years ago in San Diego. We moved up to Washington last September and bought our first house. Just a bit over a week ago, we brought home Emma, a now 10 week old Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy. She is amazingly smart and gets herself into a lot of trouble as a result, but she’s very cute and we love her a lot, Other than work and Emma, I love to play video games, listen to music, read, and cook. I’m working on my own cookbook which I plan to publish through Amazon.com. I’ll be posting random recipes here as well as my own random thoughts about my days. I hope you enjoy reading!
