Another winner inspired by Everyday Food: Fresh Flavor Fast. This soup was easy and very flavorful with a`few additions - more garlic and some traditional Mexican spices. This was a little too brothy - next time I think I'll only add one cup of water, if that.

The recipe for the pork chop rub was strongly inspired by the Betty Crocker website. Their recipe jumped out at me as a new and interesting way to try pork, and I was very pleased with how my version turned out! I made some quick refried black beans ...

This is a quick and easy side that I made to go along with some more of the leftover pork loin, which I just sliced thinly and placed on top of the saute before covering the skillet to warm through.

This is from Jaden's blog. I halved the sauce recipe, omitted the fresh berries, and just eyeballed everything, and it turned out really well! I still had more sauce than needed, but it'd go great on ice cream or a little piece of pound cake for dessert. ...
